I have so enjoyed reading your website.

I came across your name (and books) this summer while on my annual ‘pilgrimmage’ to Glenwood
Springs. Love that quaint little town. My family and I have been going to that pool since I was born, approx. 35+ years ago. We reside in Fort Worth, Texas. Anyhow, this year in Glenwood, I tried out the Yampah Vapor Caves on one of my days there, and in the solarium was a copy of the Fall issue of Telluride Style. Going through it I read an article about you and was so enthralled about your French travels and knowledge: My major was French at TCU and I studied abroad in Cannes and Paris during 1988-1989. Fell in love with FR of course, the art, the culture, the history. After graduating I flew international for Delta as a French speaker, then, later, worked for a few art galleries translating French to English for Sotheby’s and Christie’s auction pieces -indulging my love of art and fine european things. So, reading through all of your wonderful articles online has been such a joy. :) Thank you for your wonderful writing on all of these fabulous subjects. It is a vacation for my mind to read through them.
